Tony has over 15 years of experience in the IC design industry after graduating from USC with Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering. He had worked in both established large companies as well as start-up companies that open his mind to either corporate hierarchical or adventure enterprise environment. He has extensive experience in all phases of IC product development. This includes feature and specification definitions, architecture establishment, algorithm development, design implementation, device testing and final product bring up. He holds 6 US patents in various areas, e.g. circuit design, algorithm development and image/video processing.
He was a deputy directory with Century Semiconductor USA and led the USB/MP3 business division. Later he was a key contributor to the Genesis TV Decoder chip and STM DisplayPort 1.2 specification. Right now he is working in green energy field that could serve the mission to help the environment. As R&D vice president he helps to build a team thatwork on the electric vehicle power train system, where his familiarity of IC hardware, firmware coding, and system integration could help the most.
He is certified as a New Product Development Professional (NPDP) by the Product Development Management Association (PDMA).
